Full 360 Office Readiness Package

Is your workplace compliant with the new health and safety regulations?

Kwena Protect and LifeTree are partnering up to bring you a full 360 Workplace Readiness package to ensure best health and safety practices are being met as the lockdown eases and people return to the workplace. The new service offers full business needs analysis, sanitation services and the provision of appropriate PPE supplies, complete with official certification as well as maximum health and safety protocol to ensure your employees have peace of mind.

Part of Kwena Group Holdings’ ethos has always been their ability to adapt during troubled times. The year 2020 has been a disruptive and historic one with serious implications to our economy as well as public health and safety. Although the South African government acted quickly, taking world class action to combat the spread of COVID-19, the battle against this invisible enemy is far from being won. As lockdown restrictions begin to ease and industries assimilate to the new normal, the need to maintain extreme health and safety measures are essential, especially if businesses wish to remain open.

“Currently, companies that are allowed to trade, have a myriad of requirements legislatively to comply. We offer a 360 degree solution regarding advice, documentation, cleaning, sanitization and products (Leave behinds). All needs are different which is why we are accommodating all types of industry.”Eben de Jongh, CEO Kwena Group Holdings

Kwena Protective Gear

The COVID-19 pandemic has shifted Kwena Group’s focus onto their subsidiary company Kwena Protect, with a new distribution arm underway in order to meet supply and demand for PPE increases. Kwena Protect are in the process of signing distribution agreements with multiple manufacturing companies able to facilitate an internal, local and cost-effective range of PPE equipment.

As a brand that takes pride in providing full turn key solutions, the move to manufacturing Kwena’s own PPE apparel was motivated by the need to assist manufacturing companies in distress and push products that are proudly made in South Africa.

“We believe that this will assist with economic growth and job creation which is greatly needed in these devastating times.” – Eben de Jongh, Kwena Group Holdings CEO.

Kwena Protect will become a re-seller of Kwena Protective Gear, supplying their own demand as well as the demands of others, particularly in the medical industry. In addition to the latest announcement, Kwena Protective Gear will be inviting smaller companies to partake in the expansion, providing appropriate training and resources to re-align PPE businesses.

“Currently, medical PPE is being commoditized due to high levels of demand. Most of these products are imports from China which has resulted in the shortfall. Kwena Protect has always been a PPE company, however, we are responding to the demand by making our own brand, producing local quality products at competitive prices.”

While the medical industry is a top priority at the moment, Kwena Protective Gear will extend its offering to industries closer to home. These include mining, engineering, petrochemical, construction as well as oil and gas.
