PLEASE NOTE: Submitting your personal information/CV in any form (i.e.: in person, via our website, directly to a consultant, or through an affiliated job portal) automatically assumes consent to this policy.
Protecting Your Privacy
At Kwena, we respect the privacy rights of our applicants. Any information gathered by us, or provided to us, is kept strictly confidential, and will only be used or disseminated in ways for which you have specifically consented. Kwena will, under no circumstances, release your personal information (for any reason) to a third party without your express consent. The utmost care will be taken in protecting the privacy and security of your information. This Privacy Policy covers the information you provide to us offline (i.e.: telephonically or in person), as well as via our website. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to third party websites that may be accessible through our website.
Collection and Use of Information
Kwena collects and makes use of your personal information in order to be able to respond to requests for information or services provided by our subsidiaries. The information provided by you is used only in the manner for which it was intended. Kwena will collect personal information when:
- You make use of our website or affiliated websites (e.g.: PNet, LinkedIn, or Facebook) in order to seek employment. The information provided via these channels will only be utilised in order to provide you with the service you have requested (i.e.: recruitment). - You contact Kwena or any of its consultants with regards to advice or a question in which we collect your name, e-mail address and any comments you have. This information is only used to respond to your question or concerns.
- You submit your CV via our website or directly to a consultant. Should you elect to submit/upload your CV with us, your information will be made available to all of our consultants. Your information will not be made available to external third parties/clients, other than for job opportunities with your express consent.
Security of Personal Information
Kwena pride ourselves on the protection of your personal information from loss; misuse and alteration. We have implemented a variety of safeguards in order to ensure that your information remains protected, and utilised only for its intended purpose. Access to your information is only provided to employees of Kwena (and its subsidiaries), until such time as you provide consent for us to submit your information to a potential employer.
How Long Information Is Stored
The retention of data periods will differ depending on the form of information collected, and its intended purpose. For example, email addresses remain stored with us should you have subscribed to a mailing list, until such time as you unsubscribe. We will also maintain your CV and personal information on our database until such time as you ask us to remove it.
