Our client, a global engineering company with focus on solar projects and delivering large-scale renewable energy infrastructure, is currently seeking to hire a Project Document Controller to join their growing team in Postmasburg, Northern Cape. This will be a project-based contract until November 2027.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Qualification
• Strong experience in document control on large renewable energy / power generation / construction / Infrastructure projects
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
• Must be willing to relocate to Postmasburg, Northern Cape if outside the area
• Must be able to pass a site medical

Main duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Manage project documentation – receive, register, distribute and archive engineering, construction, procurement and commissioning documents.
• Control document revisions – ensure teams are always working from the latest approved drawings, specifications, procedures and other controlled documents.
• Maintain the Document Management System (DMS) – maintain document registers, transmittals, metadata, filing structures and document status.
• Coordinate document submissions – manage the submission, review, approval and return of documents between the client, EPC contractor, engineers, consultants and subcontractors.
• Track outstanding documentation – monitor overdue submissions, comments, approvals and revisions, and follow up with responsible engineering/construction teams.
• Support project close-out and handover – compile and control as-built drawings, operation & maintenance documentation, test records, certificates and final handover dossiers.
