Our client in the mining industry is looking for a Lead Geotechnical Drilling Engineer to join their team in Lesotho for a short-term contract (3-6 months).

The ideal candidate should be available immediately.

Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Managing exploration programmes
• Geotech drilling
• Geohydrology drilling
• Assist with core logging
• Understanding and managing quality systems
• Geotech modelling (ideally)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Strong drilling experience in the mining industry
• Willing and able to be based away from home
