Our client, a leading engineering and project services organisation, is seeking experienced Bulk Material Handling (BMH) Specialist Engineers to support a major Ash Dam Construction Project on a 12-month site-based contract in Kriel.
In this role, you will provide technical oversight, engineering coordination, construction monitoring, quality assurance, contractor management, and site engineering support for BMH systems and ash handling infrastructure associated with the project.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical oversight and engineering support for Bulk Materials Handling (BMH) systems and ash handling infrastructure associated with ash dam construction activities.
- Coordinate engineering activities.
- Monitor and oversee construction activities.
- Perform quality assurance control.
- Manage contractor interfaces.
- Provide site engineering support.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering Discipline.
- Minimum 10–15 years relevant engineering experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in:
- Power station environments
- Ash handling systems
- Slurry transport systems
- Bulk materials handling systems
- Construction execution within heavy industrial or utility environments
- Ash dam or related infrastructure projects.
- Experience in construction supervision and site-based engineering roles within heavy industrial or utility projects.
