The position is for the Hunter type profile person, but will also involve some relationship building/account management. They will also offer the opportunity to move into a presales with the role as well if that would be of interest.
The salary is negotiable with Commission and the product is a software tool for the Mobile BI Space. The product is currently the most popular Mobile BI tool on the market and this is a fast paced and hot environment to gain access to at the present time.
- Establish a Direct Sales client base from existing leads and generating new business. In this position, we will be selling the software and solution to nett-new name clients
- This will involve cold calling and building a pipeline from scratch and using leads provided from Mobile stores.
- The target market will be SME and larger Corporate clients.
- The target audience for a successful sale is IT Directors, CIO’s, Financial Managers, Financial Directors and CFO’s.
- Presentation skills to senior management and execs is a pre-requisite
- We are a team and are looking for a team player that owns their patch
- Templates and guidance will be provided with regards to documentation and templates, but quotations, proposals, presentations needs to be driven by the candidate
- The sales cycle is owned as well as the accounts that are managed by the candidate. The sales cycle is short and there needs to be between 3-4 Deals closed per month.
- Weekly sales report back meeting is required
- Accurate Monthly sales forecasting is done
- Assistance for the Demonstrations of the product will be done initially, but independence is required over time
- Technical knowledge is not essential
- Proper working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, powerpoint, excel is essential)
- Be able to work unsupervised and product training will be supplied
- Experience selling Business intelligence software is an advantage, but software sales a must.
- A successful Track record in software and solutions selling is essential
- Should have their own vehicle, cell phone and a valid driver’s license
- Domestic travel may be a requirement and the candidate must be willing to travel
