BI Sales

The position is for the Hunter type profile person, but will also involve some relationship building/account management. They will also offer the opportunity to move into a presales with the role as well if that would be of interest.

The salary is negotiable with Commission and the product is a software tool for the Mobile BI Space. The product is currently the most popular Mobile BI tool on the market and this is a fast paced and hot environment to gain access to at the present time.

 

-          Establish a Direct Sales client base from existing leads and generating new business. In this position, we will be selling the software and solution to nett-new name clients

-          This will involve cold calling and building a pipeline from scratch and using leads provided from Mobile stores.

-          The target market will be SME and larger Corporate clients.

-          The target audience for a successful sale is IT Directors, CIO’s, Financial Managers, Financial Directors and CFO’s.

-          Presentation skills to senior management and execs is a pre-requisite

-          We are a team and are looking for a team player that owns their patch

-          Templates and guidance will be provided with regards to documentation and templates, but quotations, proposals, presentations needs to be driven by the candidate

-          The sales cycle is owned as well as the accounts that are managed by the candidate. The sales cycle is short and there needs to be between 3-4 Deals closed per month.

-          Weekly sales report back meeting is required

-          Accurate Monthly sales forecasting is done

-          Assistance for the Demonstrations of the product will be done initially, but independence is required over time

-          Technical knowledge is not essential

-          Proper working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, powerpoint, excel is essential)

-          Be able to work unsupervised and product training will be supplied

-          Experience selling Business intelligence software is an advantage, but software sales a must.

-          A successful Track record in software and solutions selling is essential

-          Should have their own vehicle, cell phone and a valid driver’s license

-          Domestic travel may be a requirement and the candidate must be willing to travel

The Role:
The client is seeking a senior, professional sales person with experience selling complex software solutions and services on CIO, CFO en CEO level to large corporate clients.

As an Accounts Manager, you are a key part of our field sales team. Working in a defined territory or industry vertical, you will be responsible for building new relationships as well as expanding and improving business with existing customers whilst adding new clients to the customer portfolio.

 

You will be accountable for all aspects of the sale, including strengthening relationships, Identifying and developing new opportunities within, pricing negotiations, contract development, and be involved in order fulfilment.

 

Your success will be measured by your ability to meet quantitative and qualitative performance goals, increased market share and key accounts growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
Successfully sell the company’s products and services in assigned territory or industry.
Create & Deliver strategic and tactical sales plans
Accountable for meeting assigned sales quotas by acquiring new customer accounts and renewing and growing existing relationships.
Call on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and price quotes.

Job Requirements

5+ years account management experience with a demonstrated track-record of success in the software/IT industry.
5+ years successful business and territory/industry development experience..
Strong understanding of complete sales cycle management, from prospecting to closing.

Strong communication skills with ability to articulate comprehensive technological strategies to a wide range of decision makers within an organization, including technical, business, and CxO level audiences.
Demonstrated understanding of companies and opportunities that exist within assigned territory and/or vertical market segment.
Bachelors degree, preferably in business, marketing or technical discipline.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English required.
